Oh my gosh....I have absolutely loved Vista up until today. It doesn't even install the drivers when I plug it in..it says unrecognized device. But I plug it into my laptop (XP) and bam... PPC Windows Mobile deviced installed and ready to use. WTF?

Now I'm stalling, updating, and flashing on my laptop....big download..

I'll post results...
High five everyone...seriously... great community.

Re: I think I messed up...

That's really weird that Vista was giving you such a hard time. I use it for everything to cooking to unlocking to flashing. Never had any problems...

Wish I could have been more help man.

Great suggestion by the way. (not sarcasm)
Dont worry on the sarcasm....I remember I held out on buying an xp system/ o/s software when they first came out because of all the problems of course when a new o/s comes out and just not enough software to support the o/s..drivers..etc..and ran ME/2000 until there was no way around it with software was coming out meant for xp.

I hear ya. Now Vista is the problem. For most people anyway... I guess I lucked out since I have never had any problems with it.

Dharvey...you were tons of help man....

But don't be down on Vista....I got it the day it came out and I love it...

I just won't use it for cooking anymore....lol

Update: Phone's working.....I'm just gonna be cautious on the apps I put on it.

Thanks to everyone again.

You've made my first PPC experience a fun one....
