PPC-6700 newest ROM upgrade now causes problems

I hope this is the correct place to post an issue. If not I am sure I will hear about it soon and apologize in advance.
I recently updated my PPC-6700 to the latest ROM from the Sprint site, version 2.06.00 303 12700 WWE. Prior to this update I have had maybe three times the PPC-6700 has hung up requiring a soft reset over the last nearly a year. After the upgrade it has hung up requiring a soft reset on average twice a day. Maybe someone can help. Here are the problems I have had since doing the upgrade (note everything seems to work fine except for the below) ---
1) After removing from USB cradle on first use (click on something) it hangs requiring a soft reset.
2) Sometimes when clicking on a app it hangs requiring the soft reset (note I do not recall it ever hanging while using, inside, an app).
3) After a soft reset when I run Lexisgoo (for those unfamilor this is a dictionary, and a pretty useful one) and then exit it the bottom two soft keys (Calendar, Contacts) change to Answer and Ignore. After a few clicks with the stylus (or sometimes right away) ALL sound quits working. I have found only two ways to get the correct soft keys and sound back --
a) Soft reset
b) Answer an incoming phone call.
Once you answer an incoming call (calling out does not correct the issue)) then the soft keys are correct, sound is back, and you can run Lexisgoo and exit it all you want and it works fine from then on until you do a soft reset (needed to recover from the hangs mentioned above).
Finally number three above only happens with Lexisgoo. I have tried every application I have and no other causes this issue, however; Lexisgoo did not cause this issue prior to installing the update mentioned above. One last point is that if after a soft reset you receive and answer a call before running Lexisgoo the problem does not occur.
Anyone have any ideas or have seen/have this same issue?
Thanks for any help in advance.

how much rom and ram do you have? when these get low you may experience some lagginess. make sure you are going into settings and closing the running programs. this will definitely cause your ppc to slow down.

Hmm... never had thoes kinds of issues with the 2.06 sprint rom. although with the original and the 2.06 roms i had man hang issues with the data card. Are you now running applications from the SD rather than built in rom?

PPC-6700 hangs

I always close programs I am not using and the PPC-6700 is not slowing down it is hanging altogether, requiring a soft reset. I have a 512 MEG SD card and that is where Lexisgoo is installed along with all other applications I have installed.
Several days ago I removed Lexisgoo and installed a different dictionary. So far I have had no problems.
Thanks for the input.

give one of our roms a try, or rollback to the previous sprint version. See if you still have the problem.
