ive searched all over this site and the net...is there a way to change the loading icon for wm 6.1?

it can be changed quite easily... try this cab it will change it to the new HTC wait icon:

yes there are, and it's not difficult to do... in fact there was a thread on the site somewhere i'll try to dig up when i have a moment.
