Re: Solid red LED for a 6700

Battery: Standard Li-Ion Battery for AT&T / Cingular 8525 Verizon XV6700 Sprint PPC-6700

Charger: USB Docking Cradle Kit w/ Battery Slot for AT&T 8525 & Cingular 8525 (type C)

Charger will not dock the PPC-6700 but battery will fit battery slot on charger and then fit in phone.

GOOD LUCK!!

Re: Solid red LED for a 6700

Too funny...

I use a 8525 also. I took a fully charged battery out of my hermes and popped it into my 6700 but it still wont work.

I will take the 6700 apart again later and make sure I seated everything properly now that I know I have a good battery.

on the up side, the battery that was in the 6700 works great in my 8525

Thanks for the tips all, I will post results later!

Re: Solid red LED for a 6700

I got the red light after hard use over a 2 yr period. I used this guide http://www.bellybuttonporn.com/wiki/...ur_PPC/XV_6700 to completely take apart the phone, recheck the connections, and then resassemble, and now everything works great!

Re: Solid red LED for a 6700

I had the red LED occur without taking the device apart. The battery was fully charged as was the spare extended battery. Extensive testing etc. no solution. I think it is CPU related. Verizon gave me a new phone with exchange fee of course!
