Finally I can replace the Eten Dialer from the default one

Hey folks just so you know that you can replace the default dialer with the Eten by cooking your own ROM.

I can post the tutorial if anybody is interested.

You have the title of your post backwards. I actually thought you had a problem. I simply put mine in the extended rom as the last item so it did the change for me after hard resetting.

are you guys able to use eten with colonel's (or any other of the new roms) including smart dialer? The eten skin works fine, but no smartdialer. I've done the reg hack, so if I uninstall eten, it goes back to colonel's with smart dial working, but i have gotten addicted to the eten one.

btw, i'm using the one from paulya

i personally don't like the smartdialing feature because that stupid drop down is bugging me. It got in my way!! *mad*

The way I did replace the eten from the default because i don't want an extra reset .

You should try the o2 theme by Dr schultz. It uses an eten dialer with smart dial. i have already done the customizations. so it wont hang ur phone up. tested on PPC 6700 (all colonel roms & helmis aku 3.3) and t-mobile mda. install and soft reset or simple uninstall using remove programs if you dont like. click on the link

Just place the cab file on your PPC, then click on it to install. After install, it will ask you to reboot. After restarting, you are good to go.
