Just can't quit LMAO at this one. I thought I was good at this kind of stuff, you guys put me to considerable shame. You must have a lot of time to think of stuff like the damp towel is just perfect. Just perfect. lol

Look, I just got my phone back today. My service tech couldn't care less if I had a custom rom installed. Heck, they are impressed with the fact that I can do it.

You guys rock! I've had a 6700 for a little over 18 months, purchased on Ebay and with a Square Trade Warranty. It been hacked and modified over and over and was almost perfect, until I dropped it. The screen was toast and I couldn't get it to sync with the laptop. Of course, I denied dropping it, but I was a little hesitant to send it in for inspection without being able to get my data off of it and there was no way to flash it back to original defaults.....so I microwaved it according to the instructions in this thread and then sent it in. Within 5 days I had a full refund of my purchase price back in my paypal account. Thanks for all the help!
