PPC-6700 not compatible w/ SERO?

I just opened a line with Sprint. The plan is the $30 SERO plan. My original order was with the 6800 (Mogul) then I was informed that the phone was on backorder. Not really wanting to wait I changed to the free phone, because I had my Apache sitting in my room. I called Sprint and after the whole hoopla they were unable to activate my Apache on the SERO Plan. They said that the Plan and Phone are not compatible with one another and that I needed to change either or. Is this true? I know many of you guys/girls are on the 6700 and on the SERO plan. Anyone else run into this problem? Any suggestions on getting my Apache Activated?

They are too compat...i had a 6700 on my sero acount for amlost a year...

That is my thought. But the People at Sprint are telling me that The Plan or it's features are not Compat. This doesn't make sense.

they are a bunch of smelly pirate hookers...and they lie a lot! call tier 2 tech support they will gladly do your esn swap for you

ahh does anyone have tier 2 supports phone number?

The CSR said it's still incompatible and she was transferring me to Tech but my phone dropped the call. THANKS TMO.... haha

Well after tech support and about an hour on hold while he worked on the issue, I have my Apache up and running. I'm running the new 6.1 Kitchen. I have to say I'm very impressed with this ROM. The addition of SMS threading is great. Thanks Yay 4 Juggs for your help.

Sounds like they just had a provionsing issue from the beginning, glad to see you got it all worked out. Sprint has been in the media SO much for its bad customer service and I see things havent changed at all. I know they were never great when I had sprint and that was one of the reasons I changed over to VZW later on.

same situation here today. when I got my new mogul they tried to say that but all it was is the internet pack had to be changed back to power vision instead of vision. hehe
