Orignal PPC-6700 Price?

How much was PPC-6700 when if first came out?
and how much will its successor the PPC-6800 be when it hits the US market?
when do you expect a price drop for PPC-6800?

I believe it was either $549 or $599 without rebates or contract.I have no idea on the 6800 though. As far as a price drop it looks like it already is dropping.A1ltell was $199 without rebates, sprint was $299 for new customers with a 2 year contract. Some people on here have been able to get better prices through e-care or retentions.

yep the 6700 @sprint was $600 - then $550. New customers or people out of contract could get it for $250-300 w/a 2 year contract, and there is still a $100 rebate on it. So your final cost is $150-200 (amazing, really, for this phone/PDA - heck it's not a bad price for just a PDA with these specs)

The 6800 will probably follow the same price curve. It will be in the $600 ballpark with $100-150 off for new folks or people out of contract who re-up for 2 years. That price will hold for at least 9 months. After that it will drop in half as the next model rumors start
