WM6 from kitchen - wont vibrate now...

i used Helmi Official AKU 3.5 Kitchen to create a WM6 ROM and now my phone wont vibrate. i installed a bunch of advanced config tools that i dont really know how to use but i dont see anything about vibrate control. did i do something wrong or is there a setting somewhere?

Re: WM6 from kitchen - wont vibrate now...

Have any of you re-flashed with WM6 to make sure that is the issue or also confirmed by flashing back to OEM WM5 to validate the non-vibing issue?

Re: WM6 from kitchen - wont vibrate now...

so check it out... i reflashed and everything worked fine again... so i went though and did all my tweaks and what do you know the phone doesn't vibrate again! ok so i go through and undo everything one at a time and as it turns out when i re enable the blinking LED's (the service light) it starts vibrating again... so the tweak prog. call ppc6700 hacks allows you to turn off the LED's for the service lights, and for whatever reason it disables the vibrating too...

Re: WM6 from kitchen - wont vibrate now...

This is a known issue in WM5 however I wasnt aware it is also affect in WM6.

Here is the link to The most COMPLETE compilation of hacks and tweaks for WM5 and below is the hack for the LEDs

I shut off my blinking LED by going:

Hkey_Local_Machine/Drivers/Builtin/AllLEDMgr
And change the Index value from 1 to 0
Then soft reset.
This is for both the blue and green LEDs.

[EDIT. Note: This deactivated the vibrate mode on my phone]

Re: WM6 from kitchen - wont vibrate now...

so thats great... you can turn off the LEDs as long as you dont care the your phone doesnt vibrate? thats weak, those LEDs are a waste of battery, but i have to have a vibrate mode...

Re: WM6 from kitchen - wont vibrate now...

Yeah, it is a hardware issue not a rom issue.

Re: WM6 from kitchen - wont vibrate now...

Besides, LED use very little battery/electricity. Thats why all your car lights and flashlights and traffic signal lights and everything else is going from filament to LEDs. I promise that you turning off your LED will NOT give you an extra hour or more of battery life.

And besides, like I said before, this is a known issue. Sry
