unreliable alarms

Has anyone found a way to make the alarms work reliably?
I've tried the built in alarm, gsclock, the one in french, and currently use spb time. With all of them, the phone just won't wake up. It's sleepier than I am I think. I've enabled the alarm hack in tweaks2k2net, and in spb alarm. I had the wake up full hack enabled also, but it would wake up every time mail2web server was pinged, and it still wouldn't wake me reliably.

Currently I am using Helmi's 3.3 and loving it, gonna try colonel's rom shortly.

Thanks.

E.

I use this alarm...

Free, and seems to be reliable.

If you are having a lot of issues with alarms going off, your notification queue is probably not well.

I'll search and find out.

Thanks again,
