Downside to Loading Progs in Ext_Rom???

Is there any downside or harm to loading prgrams into extended_rom to allow for more main memory? I have cleared all extended_rom files and backed them up on sd card for installation. This has given me 10 more MB of memory.

No problems or disadvantages that I've seen.

Don't know if you've done it or not, but I'd highly recommend UPX'ing Opera's dll. I think it is normally about 5-6 megs in size, after UPX'ing, it is ~1.7 megs.

I had done that at one point but I didn't like how I could no longer use my softkeys to access the "action" and "menu". Actually sometimes I could and sometimes I couldn't, it was sporadic. Thanks for the suggestion though!
