Colonel,

I tried your suggestion regarding the SDialer.exe but it does not allow you to set it up. It opens and says no names in the dialer and then closes????

Do you have a cab from the extended ROM that I could use to install the program?

Thanks for your work. I can't wait for the 3.5!

With the Voice Dialer app, you have to record the voice tags before you can use them to dial. That is why it closes. You need to set voice tags in Contacts or something like that. I never used the app.

Thanks for the quick reply. In my wife's phone when you highlight one of your contacts and then go to the "menu" soft key it has a line you can select for "add voice tag."

I'll keep digging on this end but, since you have the OS all torn apart, I was hoping that there would be a cab somewhere to instal this program.

Thanks for your help

Thanks again for the quick reply, but that does not seem to work either.

Is it possible to put the program back in the ROM either in the beta 3 or the 3.5? It must have to be installed with the original software in the OS or something.

Again thanks.

So, what is it not doing? Are you able to set voice tags for certain contacts? Have you gone into settings and tried to set it up there?

thanks for the file Colonel, I found another one that worked better ba_wm5_voice_dialer_2.cab.

I am a happy camper now.

Just waiting for 3.5 to become stable.
