02 shortcut issue

Has anyone been able to get shortcuts in to the 02 tabs for programs that are in a subfolder under programs? What I mean is when you go to add a program for 02 shortcuts many of them are not listed such as Excel, Word, etc.

Beta 1 you could add anything including many of the Settings and system icons to the shortcut bar. I think But the last 2 3.3 nb files they are not available as everything got put into subfolders which makes Programs look more streamlined but seems to have created thi issue.

Any ideas?

Great job on the 3.5 ROM, Colonel. Like others, I've noted some sluggishness vs. your 3.3 Custom (and "Latest nk.nbf with a twist.rar"). But all in all, things are looking good. I'll be doing some testing over the next few days.

In the meantime, I have noted that some of the Sprint-specific customizations are missing or not functioning - and I was using you ms.nbf from previous builds. Specifically, the connection definition for EVDO Vision network is not automatically in the build.

*Update* I noted that Saridnour & Co. are also seeing sluggishness with CF 2.0 on AKU 3.5 (http://www.ppcgeeks.com/aku-3-3-vs-3...2-0-t2848.html). Is anyone else noticing this with Colonel's ROM?

smokemojo, you have to edit the registry to get other programs in the tabs. This is a limitation with the O2 software. Look in [HKCU\Software\O2\O2plus]

badwolf, at this point you might as well hang tight til this evening. With the 3.5nk.nbf, you should be able to flash the ms.nbf of your choice again. Or you can flash nothing with it.

The ms.nbf is just the extended rom. On the ftp is a Verizon one by itself. You really don't need to flash it everytime. The ms.nbf that I put in the "twisted" package is modified. If you flashed it, you might want to go back to a stock Verizon ms.nbf.

I should be able to package installers for most of the carriers based upon the extRoms that I have for the 3.5 release.

Hey colonel,

what version of nk.nbf is in the Col3.3beta3Verizon.zip file you posted today?

I think it was from right before the twisted one. I did not actually install it to check. Should be pretty close though.
