As a fellow programmer and hardcore 6700 abuser I must say that my personal dreamlist I created for this phone over a year ago has finally come to fruition.

It looks like this latest build labeled: (Latest nk.nbf with a twist.rar 2/13/2007) seems to be running flawlessly for me. Haven't tested everything of course.

I have, however, tested it with added software -registered versions of: TomTom, Project-ing, BackupManager, WeatherPanel, NetFront, Audible...and a mono bt as well as stereo bt headphones.

I've been alternating between this version and saridnour's version for the past few days, and so far I'm sticking with Colonel on this one.

Only problem I have encountered is that stereo bt still does not work with Audible.com audio books. Everything else comes through in stereo loud and clear. I would like to find a solution that would give decent audio playback of these books in stereo.

<edit: after countless hours of trial/error - I got lucky(?) by way of reinstalling older version of xcpuscalar..and BT stereo works with everything!! No need to make any changes on it, just installing it did the trick! >

The gang at MS may have a problem with their request. As was pointed out, the purchase has already been made and the customization of the product is within the license as long as it is for personal use and not for commercial use.

MS stands to gain here in that they get a lot of free information and ideas from all of this research and work. They may not be as smart as they think they are!

Colonel, How is the speed of your 3.5?
"saridnour" rom thread states 3.5 slower than 3.3 when .NET2 installed

The 3.5 kitchen includes CF1, if you use the CF1&2 OEM it will whine about some dupe files when you click the big happy START button to build the kitchen, but it works fine. Seems to anyway.

Time Problems

Hey All,
I fly alot and change timezones.
I am using
Latest nk.nbf.rar dated 10Feb07 0815pm

During the install of the firmware I selected Central time zone.
Now the phone seems to be stuck there.

What happened.
I was in California and switched the time on the 6700 to PST.
But every so often, and I can say what or when but definately within each hour, the phone would on its own change back to central time.

Good thiing I set a backup alarm.

I am wondering if setting the timezone during the install of the firmware locks the phone to it.

This one looks like a good one(they all look good). I have not done any of the other roms yet so this one will be my first. Wish me luck.

Try using the Visiting time zone and leave the primary alone and see what happens.

There is a 3.5nk.nbf on the ftp. Only use this if you want to test it. It still needs some work.

What are some of the differences between these last 3 changes?

3.5nk.nbf.rar
Latest nk.nbf with a twist.rar
Latest nk.nbf.rar

...and what are the currently known remaining issues?

(also- I came up with solution to BT prob I was having-then edited post above)
