Has anyone else had the issue with Vibrate mode not working. My phone has lost the vibrating alert. All settings are correct, but it is not working. I also have flashed back to the Sprint factory rom, hoping to receive it back, but there is still a lingering effect from the installation of the Colonel ROM's. I am sure that if I take it back to the Sprint store, they would have questions as to why a hard reset now requires a space bar boot.... Please help. Any suggestions welcomed. TIA...

robrob, I assume that app is similar to Termial Services Client? Right now, there is an app there called Remote Desktop which I am trying to get working. What does vncview do that these apps don't\won't? Just trying to make sure it is something that is necessary.

willew, I finally had a chance to test the vibrate issue and it works fine for me. If you went back to the Sprint rom and did a hard reset, there shouldn't be anything left from my rom. Perhaps it is a hardware issue. Also, my hard resets always required the space bar. I really do not think that Sprint techs will even notice this. If they ask about an upgrade, just tell them that it was running wierd even with a hard reset so you reinstalled the latest upgrade from UTStarcom. Make sure you do a couple of hard resets after the installs too.

badwolf, yes the button lock is engaged when the device is locked.
Also, has anyone tried to add something like this to their ExtRom config.txt? CPY1:\Extended_ROM\pim.vol CPY2:\pim.vol You would need to have the latest copy of your pim.vol in your ExtRom. Just something to try to see if it works. |
