Does anyone use a program to allow multiple IE windows?

How do I get the gps to work as a gps?

Last thing, how do I just update the fbk file since I already upgraded everything else?

Thanks for all your help and great info.

Use opera for multiple windows or tabs

You need an external GPS unit to use the phone for GPS (tom tom, etc)

fbk?

Oh, so I should just buy a tom tom and not use the pda. Wouldn't that be better?

Sorry, I meant nk.nbf file.

Thanks!

The phone does not do GPS nativly, you need an external unit to hook it up to.

for the nb file, if the nb file was present in the directory you launched the rom installer from, it will have installed already and the files are in your extended_rom, if it wasn't present when you did the rom upgrade, redo the rom upgrade with the nb.nbf in the install directory.

I just upgraded or you might call it downgraded to Windows Vista Ultimate. now while it has a built in active synce to add my programs it seems that the ram flash upgrade for the 3.3 does not work. I get a message "This rom update is not for your specified device." Is this a problem with Vista or a problem with the way I am doing it?

If you look at the instructions for the rom upgrade, it specifically says it won't work with vista, only XP (you can sync with vista fine though)

I have discovered that the shell errors are not only caused by HTC Task Manager, but also Inclose.

I put only Inclose on an AKU 2.0 and have received more shell errors than with the HTC closer.

AHA! Yes I was trying to track down that shell error with the "NO ExtRom" loaded and didn't realize it had a shortcut in the startup folder which was making it alive even though I did not select it.

I also am not running the "latest", but the one you uploaded the other day and the nullkeyboard does not work good. I updated it with this version posted.

Also I need batti updated so there won't be need for the settings to be in a tool folder. It works correctly with latest I am also posting.

Also I had IE freezing on main webpage but I changed default webpage in IE settings and also had to select normal view to get it working .
Now all that has to be done is to play with registery to get it to NOT be viewed as a desktop web browser.
Then pages should load nicer, especially sprint picmail page!

Edit: woops forgot to post files!

Have the latest batti in the latest nk.nbf. Still working on nullkeyboard and SIPChange.

So, basically you both are saying that disabling InClose or X button clears up the shell error issue?
