I just received my i-Blue Edition 2 (i-Blue 737) and I'm wondering if it is possible to enable the VTG NEMA sentence in it. I would like to test it with the software written where I work, but it needs the VTG sentence to work properly.

The manufacturer told us it is IMPOSSIBLE to get VTG out of the i-Blue which is currently locked down to use those 4 parameters only: GGA, GSA, GSV, RMC

Actually, VTG is no longer used in all new GPS applications because it uses more batteries and CPU processors on the host device. Most new GPS software could derived the VTG data from the 4 fundamental parameters.

VTG is not supported on this device by factory default.

We have send this question to the manufacturer and we hope there could send us a software that could help you turn this on.
