Absolutely right--the problem stems from the old version of SDMemory installed from the extrom, not from anything in the rom itself. There is no fix you can offer (other than removing that .dll from the cab if you're going to provide an extrom for people). Otherwise, people just need to learn to not install that cab or to do the manual deletion if already installed in order to solve the disappearing SD issue.
