Reverting back to original installed rom, can it be done ?

After upgrading to the latest kitchen and having a lot of issues with my 6700, I'm wondering if there is any way at all to revert back to the original rom.
Can I reload from a Mini-SD card since I've tried with no success from the computer using ActiveSynce....
I get a no-id error when I try from the PC.....

How about reloading with orginal images of the splash screens since the splash screens from the current kitchens has the "hemic" signatures on them ?

Thanks....

Re: Reverting back to original installed rom, can it be done ?

you can get the original rom here.

ftp://ppcgeeks:ezupload@up.ppcgeeks....0_WWE_Ship.exe

Next time please search, I see this question at least once a week.

I know there is a tutorial on here or over at xda-developers.com that tells you how to load from sd card on an apache. Is all Im finding right now is ones for the titan. Im sure its similar just have to rename the file something different.

It says helmi all over it because he made it. No matter what boot screen you choose that is still gonna be there.

Re: Reverting back to original installed rom, can it be done ?

I have the original rom and have been given the link before but it will not flash to an already upgraded phone to WM6 - hence my question, who has gotten a flash to work back to the original rom and by what means...?
The program keeps saying invalid phone id or that it doesn't recognize the phone....
I just heard about the flashing from Mini-SD but haven't heard anyone say that it has worked or how they got it to work..
The link you are providing me only supplies the program that works from the computer thru activesync only, not from the Mini-SD card.....

Thanks...

Re: Reverting back to original installed rom, can it be done ?

I am also trying to revert back to the original rom to return it to Verizon for repairs. I think it has something to do with the bootloader (currently on 2.02). I have tried using APA_VZW_20720_206_11000_WWE_Ship.exe with no luck. I get Error 101: Connection Error. I see a lot of post going from 2.05 or .04 to .02 or below. I hope someone out there can help resolve this issue. Please forgive me for missing the hidding post. Thanks in advance.

Have you ever heard of a SEARCH feature? There is one right at the top of the page. There are plenty of threads with OEM ROMs you can use.
