Opera and IE

People say it ....... BUT................
Can anyone tell me what makes Opera better than Explorer?
Will having 2 browsers installed on the PPC slow it down a lot?
or is it possible to remove Explorer?

It won't slow it down unless you are running both at the same time.

as far as what makes it better; I think that is a matter of personal preference more than anything. I run opera because I feel it formats things better to the Qvga screen better, but I really don't have any empirical evidence to back that up.

Not to mention Opera has no problems with viewing html & WAP sites with out any hacks.

Tabbed browsing, properly runs java, faster than PIE, better formatting, runs fine from memory card. Now if they would do Firefox for PPC I would be in heaven.

From the website:
Click here to install Minimo from your Windows PC. (3.1MB)

Or

After downloading the cab file, copy to your device and then use Start -> File Explorer on your Window Mobile device to locate and run the CAB installer.

Or Follow the installation guide on PPC Central.

i've been using netfront 3.5 concept. so far i like it the best. i had problems with minimo crashing. i used pieplus with pie for a while, it was nice. up until the netfront concept i used opera though. just liked it better. never had a problem.
heres the link for netfront: http://www.access-company.com/produc.../35_wm_tp.html
