I've been trying to get BTPAN working in 3.5, still no joy
Stock 3.5 off the kitchen, has minor mismatches with the above reg entires (doubtful that's the problem) USB works in ICS, BT no joy. When selecting Bluetooth PAN for PC connection, and then any sprint network connection, it fails with "Cannot connect for an unkown reason. To change your connection settings, tap Settings." - that's a problem dialing #777 to make the network connection, not the BT PAN. So.... what's the problem? |

BT dun
Someone posted that they were able to get BT DUN working by using WModem, what AKU are you running? I can't replicate that with colonel's 3.3 beta 3 for Verizon. I'm trying to make a car PC setup and need all possible connections at once - remote display control, gpsgate, salling clicker, activesync, total input and internet of some kind served to the laptop. I had this by using BT DUN ion conjunction with everything else, and USB internet sharing does it partyiall but some other things can't connect. Anything special you did to make WModem work?

USB Connection
How are you getting the USB connection to work? My PC doesn't see it as a modem anymore.
I flashed my 6700 right before a business trip to NY not realizing the PAN features were gone. Ugg. |

Internet Sharing via USB "appears" to work from the PPC side, but I have been unable to get the laptop to connect to the internet.
So far, with the 3.x ROMs I have tried BT PAN, BT DUN, USB(via wmodem and internet sharing), IrDA via wmodem. The only thing that has worked so far has been using wmodem and USB. Everything else either appears to work on the phone side but no connectivity from the PC, or as in the case of BT PAN, it gives a weird error. Ughh. It has to be something simple we are missing. |
