I still never cease to be amazed at how awesome this update is.

I didn't realize this...

but I had Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Solitaire, IE, Opera, and a few other things open... for days... and literally haven't experienced any slowdown. I just activesync'd and to prevent my screen from constantly turning itself on, I just went in to close all programs. Imagine my surprise.

On top of that, I have 50MB free between RAM and storage... crazy!

Thanks for the great update! This rocks!

I am having one problem. My contacts will not work. Does anyone know how to remedy that? I've tried the smartdialer change but didn't help. All I get when I hit contacts is a flashed screen then it goes back to where I started, either from the today screen or phone screen. Just depends on where I am at.

You have to do a hard reset or two after installing the update and that will take care of the contacts problem. After I did the update I did a hard reset and couldnt dial *228 but then installed smartdialer and could call it and vm successfully. So far all my programs work well with it except weather panel gives me an error.

Yeah, I got overly excited and forgot to do the initial hard reset. I had two sets of contacts and that was messing me up.

Thanks!

Wideawake,

I've tried both and still "contacts" is still just flashing. Would flashing Helmi's 3.3 update again help or hinder this problem?

like, I was having the same problem. Always have just copied and pasted my pim file. The prorocol is different with pim files across AKU2.x and AKU 3.x. Kinda like outlook data files have to be imported from older versions of outlook. You have to sync to get your contacts back in after this update. No way the pim will work. I had to learn the hard way. Tried way too many times to make it work. I am not an expert, like these other guys (and gals) just had the same experience, is all.
