Re: How to install OEM's located in the FTP directory ??
Ok, I downloaded and installed the Oemizer, and customized some of my setting but couldn't get any addition programs or software "OEMs" from the ftp site to install. I selected zipped files and directories both, but neither worked.....what am I doing wrong or is this not the purpose of the Oemizer ?
Thanks... |

are you trying to build a rom? or jsut trying to install them? to the best of my knowledge oem's are only really useful to put in a rom or make a .cab file out of. if you're just trying to install them you'll need to find the .cab or .exe versions. the oemizer takes the cab files and turns them into oem's. i personally don't know how to turn an oem into a cab file, but i'm sure if you search on here you'll find whatever app you're looking for in .cab or .exe format. thats about the best i can tell ya, as i'm still a rookie, but i hope it puts you in the right direction. |

Re: How to install OEM's located in the FTP directory ??
I would either like to install the OEMs into an existing rom if possible, or create .CAB files out of them. A .cab file would work just fine for me since I could try out the program and see if I like it without having to reflash my phone each time or build a new rom.
Is there a program that will convert the OEMs into .CAB files ? Thanks... |

Re: How to install OEM's located in the FTP directory ??
try using a cab manager....wince cab manager has a 20 use limit for free so you could use that.
