Is there a WM 6.1 Rom out yet for the 6700?

I had no problems using BuildOS this weekend, installing it or updating it, but I know someone else who has been having all sorts of problems trying to get it to update.

so you guys gonna go ahead and post a unofficial wm 6.1 rom for the apache? i thought we had to build our own rom?that would be cool cuz it never works for me

I'd be happy if someone just posted a rom so all I had to do was flash it and enjoy, I never understood the whole kitchen and cooking thing, it always fails for some reason or another, and because of that, I refuse to attempt to flash my phone with whatever just happens to make it out.

Best thing to do if you don't know how to build one right is just use the kitchen, but don't add anything (use the core rom) and add cabs for the things you really want. I've never had any issues with it that way

I don't know how long it has been available, this is a pretty old thread, but I just used PPCKitchen to load a custom 6.5 ROM and it's running great so far.
The 6700 has very little room to spare, so I was only able to cram in Office and a few small items. If you try to put much more on it, it will not cook. Below is my project file. The first and third splashimages are edited from splash pages for other resolutions, so they will not be there. The middle one doesn't show up on an Apache, so I don't think it matters what is there. I did a ton of experimenting and this seems to be very close to the max size for Apache.
The 6.5 ROM has .NET3.5 packed in there somewhere, it isn't a choice anymore, so that and the bigger ROM take up a ton of room.
This Base ROM is the last available without the large bottom bar that is in the way for a lot of programs. I don't know why anyone would want those newer ones except for geek factor. I tried them and was annoyed by that bar.

Also, I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere for Apache or Vogue, but I have a 16G microSD that works great in both. The highest I've heard of in the threads is 8 for Apache. I think a 32 should also work.
