MMSComposer install failed on 2.2beta2

Ok, first attempt to install MMSComposer after a clean install of 2.2beta2 Custom Sprint rom along with the no junkware ExtROM failed.

Program was listed as an installed app, but opening messages via today screen only listed the standard email and text options. Installing the app a second time allowed it to integrate properly. Is anyone able to confirm this activity themselves? Perhaps it was just a brainfart on the part of my 6700.

At any rate, for those who are used to ArcsoftMMS, you might want to check out MMSComposer from the XDA forums andsee if you like it. Personally, i like the list to select multiple recipients, rather than cycling thu and adding one at a time to the TO: field... that alone i think makes it worthwhile. Plus, the cab file is 2.23 megs compared to ArcSoft's 3.17 meg size. That should help for integration into the ExtROM, but i haven't done that yet...

course, you'll have to enter the server settings, so for the ExtROM, it would be easier to stick with the PPCGEEKS already-rolled cab...

absolutely..

bah.. i mistyped when i said it was from XDA.. the link is on buzzdev.. it's

http://buzzdev.net/component/option,...c=select&id=34

note that it is an older version of Arcsoft's software. The PPCGeeks rolled version is 3.0.6.22 while this linked one is 2.0.0.20

But that file size difference could make it worthwhile for people that are trying to squeeze in the smallest possible cabs into their ExtRoms
