Heya... You'll need the SDK and the emulator (I *think* the emulator comes with the SDK). Next thing is actually writing the screens and application of course. You can use VB.NET or C#.NET or whaterver, yes. How much do you know about VB.NET - in other words kinda asking yer skill level here - can you write VB.NET forms or webservices for windows yet or are ya kinda a newbee at that side of it too>?

I came from VB6 and I am slowly learning VB.NET. In VB6 I can create standard Windows Apps, MDI Apps, create my own variables and data types, use timers, code modules, create files, overwrite files, make directories, and very little database programming.
I have all the SDK's and Emulators for WM with my VB 2005. I'm having trouble finding the built in coding instructions are for WM5 and WM6. Like in VB6, I can use the FileObjectSystem to create files, delete files, check to see if a file exists, and so forth. Maybe I just need to learn how to fully program in VB.NET before I can create programs in WM. |
