Apache Sprint gmaps
From drellisdee:
"I'm a vzw agent using an originally qwest branded 6700. The system will pull the device info using esn lookup and display htc-6700 and not even tech support can tell you arent using a native xv6700 if you dont tell them. It seems any 6700 that doesn't have an entry in the negative esn files can be used and will be auto accepted on vzw. I have personally converted over and sold several sprint, qwest, and cell south ones all of which were accepted by vzw's esn database as it seems the allowed vzw 6700 esn range isn't just for native esn's like they are doing with the 6800. Go to a vzw agent for a new act who will gladly work for a CPE coam or if you just need an esn change call cust service give them the esn and tell them its a 6700 pocket pc and it should go right in. If vzw is A side of tower in your area after the esn change is done or added to a new account a *22800 should ota program without having to load a prl or manually nam program (*22801 if vzw is b side which altell is in my area.) This will get it working with voice and sms. To get data working you have to edit the mip profile and write a valid vzw dmu key even after flashing a stock or custom vzw rom as those settings remain set to sprint even after a vzw rom is flashed. Had to figure that one out on my own as tier 2 vzw tech support couldn't get data working."
So is it possible to utilize that phone to acknowledge the verizon network for nagivation? I assume that if I switched to verizon that the feature would start working. I was wondering if an additional app would be able use the cdma towers for navigation without having to access the system.
