No Data Service After Switching Carriers

After reprogramming my Apache to a new carrier I can no longer recieve data service, even though I can place calls and data service is active on my account.

Is there another programming menu for the apache other than ##778 that I should be using?

Also my Q had internet settings for my carrier in the registry under hklm/comm/cellular line/parms/tcpip/

Now with the new apache and wm6 there is nothing in that location.

What am I doing wrong?

Maybe it needs to be reprovisioned?

No Data With New Carrier

The data service still works with the old phone I switched from if I power it on. The old phone was a Q with WM5. I'm not really sure how it was configured to work with the data service, other than there being settings in the registry with ip and dns info. That information is not in the apache device, and I don't know how to add it or if it's needed.

I don't believe it needs to be reprovisioned since it works with the old phone.

If you do some searching, you'll find that this is a common issue when trying to change carriers. I just can't remember anyone ever posting any fixes for it.

Try opening up the Mobile IP information with the built in EPST. Edit the settings so they match that on your Q. That may work.

The mobile IP information on the Q seems to be in the registry, and the Apache is in the EPST like you say. I'm having trouble comparing apples to apples. I cannot find in the Q a username or password. The mobile ip fileds in the Apache don't match what is in the Q registry. I'm not sure there is another place in the Q to find those settings. Still helpless. If I do get this working I'm going to write a howto.
