xv6700 wm6 bad speakphone and low volume

After upgrading to the WM6 (using helmi_c's kitchen) the volume on my xv6700(vzw) sucks. The volume is was too low on the ringtones as well as when using speakerphone. i've tried adding other ringtones and get the same results. I've also done a few hacks that are supposed to increased the volume...didn't work. Before the latest kitchen rev i could control the volume from the phone volume slider, now i have to use the PDA volume slider (the volume control on the left). If i crank it all the way up, i can sort of hear it ring, but its crackling and choppy. I've reloaded the ROM several times and tried not added multiple packages. i cant find a combo that works. any ideas?

thanks,

I too am having poor earpiece volume on my phone from time to time. I looked at the link stated above and noted that the setting were already set for the "optimal" volume. Is there any adjustments to be made on the phone itself to help resolve the issue?

Send a message via Yahoo to ferky
please try this one

Have you edit the registry yet ?
if you have not please try this one :
open Reg edit : HKCurrentUser\ControlPanel\SoundCategories\Ring\In itvol
Change the number from 3 to 5 , number greater than 5 wouldn't make any change of volume...
This regedit has been posted several times here....
Hope this help u
Regards
