changing wake up alarm sounds?

i like using my phone as alarm clock if i end up not in my own bed :giggity: but all these sounds for an alarm suck. any ideas on how i could change the sound of an alarm so it could be loud and long.

i know if i drop mp3 into the sounds folder i can use em as ringtones but what about alarms? (clocks & alarms menu > alarms)

thx..

Alarm ringers

What I do is record the part of a song I want to use with the voice recorder in notes. To do this you can play the song or mp3 with windows media player. Then start recording you will record whatever is being played. Then rename the recording whatever you want then use file explorer to cut and paste the recording in windows. The recording will appear on your alarm ringers list. Thats it.

u can change the alarm sounds, but they have to be in .wav format. just place them in the windows directory.
