1. Download the attached .zip file on your ppc. Either directly or activsync it over. And extract files. NOTE: if you have the new ROM, if not your gonna have to activsync all the files over after extracted on your desktop.

2. Copy Avrcp_MPplugin.dll, bta2dp.dll, & sbc.dll to windows directory on phone.

3. Install the Tornado_A2DP.CAB and then install the Tor_A2DP_cert.CAB

4. Soft reset the device.

5. Pair your headset with the phone, making sure you select the set as wireless stereo option, and your DONE!

That simple now you can listen to your favorite music with stereo quality!

Dose the BTToggle work with this? I have a discovery 640 that I like to use for Music some times. I also mave a Motorola HT 820 so I need the A2DP

It should work as bttoggle program only opens the audio gateway, this is a hack to add the feature of add as stereo device and the files needed to support A2DP.

Ok My A2dp works very well but when I try to start the BTTogle (installed per instructions) I get this message. This application requires a newer version of the Microsoft.net Compact Framework than the version installed on this device. Can you offer any help? What am I doing wrong?

OH this is the updated version of the BTToggle program that requires the newest version of .net framework. Left that out in the instructions, Thanks for pointing that out. You can download the .net framework version 2 from HERE. Just install the .cab included in the .zip to your main memory and all should work now. Hope this helps! :thumbleft:

That was it. This is a great program to have it makes things much easier. However, when using BTToggle and switching between my Motorola HT 820 stereo head set and my discovery 640 I found that it is necessary to turn the voice dial on before turning on my HT 820. The HT 820 connects automatically after a partnership has been established so the BTTogle is not needed. If I try to use the audio gateway with my HT 820 the sound is in mono and not stereo.

yea when using a regular headset it is mono on with a2dp headsets will it be stereo. I think I mentioned that in the how to use regular headset to listen to music post. :)
