How to disable internet service on PPC6700?

I do not have power vision service with sprint so I want to prevent my PPC from going to the internet accidentally. How can I change the setting so that it won't go to internet even if I accidentally push the browser button. Thanks.

An easy way is to delete the Verizon dial out profile, Setttings / Connections / Connections / Advanced / Select Networks / Edit then the VZ profile for dialing out. Remove the #777 number then hold down on the VZ profile and it will ask you if you'd like to delete it. (I'm commenting from memory as to the very last part of the process but it's very close to my suggestion if anything is off). If you ever want to replace it I found it easy to put it back in. In addition you can also call VZ and tell them block data connections. Note that you still may get a rare very small charge for data on your bill but it will likely be only pennies.

I use the "No Data" Program that is available in Helmi's WM6 kitchen.

Call *2 tell them you want to block all data access on the line - "I DO NOT WANT ANY CASUAL DATA ACCESS ABILITY" You can also have them block all premium SMS messages unless you use those things, to prevent any slamming/spamming of pay-based SMSes.

They'll set your account such that even if your phone tries to call #777, it will just get the "no modem answered" error. No fuss, no muss. I do this on my kid's line, for her vision phone.
