weird stuff with active sync & 6700

Been having trouble out of this thing losing the signal dropping it and cant find it sometimes. Now it can have full bars but when i plug it into the USB cable to sync or use as a modem it will drop the signal and search and search for it. Anyone had this happen b4?

My Alltel 6700 has been doing this lately it's really annoying sometimes I'm trying to download a larger file and it'll just die in the middle of the download. I just downgraded back to WM5 and the Official Alltel ROM and not one drop yet so i'll give it a go for a while and see.

Which Kitchen are you using? It started happing with the last Helmi Kitchen as far as i can tell.

the latest one posted is what I have been using. I tried flashing back to the aku 3.3 vzw rom off of utstarcoms site. but it still drops the signal and loses it.

Hmm.. I wonder if it was a radio issue because so far still no drops. The reason I say it might be a radio problem is because when I went back down to WM5, (which as a side note there are things I like about it, but I like WM6 alot better than this now that I've gone back.) it did a radio "upgrade" i think it used to be 1.27 now its dropped down to 1.15 and its working wonders not a problem yet.

Now I remember why I upgraded to WM6 to begin with instead of it dropping the signal it would just freeze the phone and I'd have to soft reset.
