Advice for ppc6700

Okay guys i am new to this site and forum!!!!

I plan on buying a Apache ppc6700 phone

I dont know which one yet (Sprint or Verzion)

I have read the tutorials posting about flashing the phone to cricket and it seems doable.

I have a few questions before i do this!!!!

Do I start a cricket account first then flash the phone to cricket or
do i flash then start an account.

Is the cricket PRL 1050 better than the cricket PRL 1040

and lastly i am a college student and need the internet, is WAP or EVDO free or do i have to pay for in a cricket data plan, because if i do i can just set the phone to a low price calls only and just use the phones WI-FI capabilities and find a near by hotspot.

and I know most of the apache ppc 6700 come with Windows mobile 5.0 and thanks to members in this forum who have created kitchens to upgrade ROMs to windows Mobile 6.0.(Helmi's Apache AKU 3.5 kitchen)
Should I Flash the phone to cricket, upgrade ROM to WM 6, then activate/ setup and account on cricket. If someone could give me the specific or best order to do this i would be eternally grateful

Thanks for your help!!! :clapping:
