I have a couple ideas, but they are not based on experience nor anything with physical proof.
Maybe if you use an Internet Sharing Application and choose Bluetooth Sharing and tap on Bluetooth or click start, the Lifedrive will see the device as an optional internet connection? Kinda like when your device is in bootloader mode, it shows up as a different kind of device then if Activesync connects to it. I may have more ideas, but for now that is something to try.

Re: Palm Lifedrive to PPC-6700 via bluetooth? or bt stereo help?
I was actually been able to connect my lifedrive to my mogul for like 3 mnths now via bluetooth to access the internet. under manufacture choose other, and under model choose gsm phone even tho its not. Make bt visible on the phone, add the phone to the lifedrive.
after it will ask you if you want to set it up to use internet, choose yes. but when it ask if you subscribe to a high speend data service from you carrier choose no. enter you #777 as ur phone number and put ur sprint username and password. I had to type this up super quick cuz someone else needs the pc but i hope this helps with the apachie and other devices as well... Last edited by gxnext; 06-24-2008 at 08:20 AM. |
