question about importing contacts

Hello all,

I am upgrading to the XV6700 today, so of course I need to sync my contacts. I uploaded them into Outlook through ActiveSync from my Moto Q 9M. How do I upload them to my new XV6700? Is the process the same if I am using the WM6 rom? Thanks.

Yes you should be able to plug and it wil sync with the 6700. If you plan to upgrade your apache with WM6 then you should download the latest active Sync. Should be 4.5.

Pretty much just sync your new ppc once you get it.

You should make a couple different backups - pim backup is GREAT for making backups on the device itself

Make the backup to a storage card (or to internal memory, but then copy the backup to your PC via activesync)

You could also get a live.mail2web.com account, and sync your stuff up "in the cloud" for yet a third backup.

Gracias for the info! That little backup program worked great for me. I backed everything up prior to my first flash on my 6700! Whooeee! LIFE IS GOOD!
