How to increase your ppc 6700 phone signal? I have Cricket.

Hi everyone. Everytime i go to school i get so emmbaresed because i have no signal strenth up inn my school. One block away from my school does but not at my school. And everyone else has T-mobile/Verizon/ect. and they all have service at the school. I was wondering if you can like download or do something to my phone to increase its signal? He could also spend a few hundred on a repeater. Or, one of those external antennas that always end up damaging the jack and circuit board.
