PPC 6700 Problems

Hello everyone, I ran into a problem while upgrading my ppc 6700 to WM6, i was instaling the rom as the USB connection went banana's on my computer. it was saying "USB device not recognized by windows", The ppc now just allows me to give a hard reset instead of connecting to any USB on different computers. It doesnt allow me to do anything. I press "Y" on the reset then "SPACE" to boot. it keeps a black screen at all times.

WHAT can i do in orther to boot again on WM5 or get the WM6? just let me know anything that could help me. Thanks a lot.

Bobby,
You may be "stuck in bootloader" (assuming your "black screen" is has a couple words and numbers on it that you can see under a bright light.)

I wish it was "stuck in bootloader", I just have a black screen with no letters or anything in it. It will still try to connect to windows via USB, but dispplays msg that "USB device not recognized". only allows me to hard reset but wont go anywhere else. What else could it be? Thank you for your fast reply.

I had a similar problem. I just quickly kept removing and inserting the cable into the phone until it reconized it and after a few tries my computer reconized it, hope this helps.

Try pressing the power button, if not try pressing and holding the power button. IF THOSE DON'T WORK then put it in bootloader by holding down the power button, record key on the side and pressing gthe soft-reset button.
