Hidden files in my outbox

my 6700 phone shows two messages in my outbox, but yet when you click on the outbox folder, there is nothing there. Is there any way to either view these two messages or delete them without doing a hard boot?

There is a way to reset the counter although I personally cannt remember, hopefully someone else can and will chime in.
