coffee!!

my friend spilled coffee on my phone and now the screen just turns white! is there anything i can do?! i dont have insurance because of stupid sprint didnt added for me in the beginning when i got it even i had asked them to so when i realized i didnt have the insurance and i tried to add it they didnt want to add it anymore!! so is there anything i can do!? or am i AO?

yikes that sux major....should have checked those bills

anyways so its just white all the time? only options I see is to take it apart and try and dry it maybe (doubt it will work tho) or find a cheap one on ebay just for the screen and see if u can replace it. if not u may be sol. sorry.

yea, start lookin for a new ppc. you could try taking it to sprint and they might be able to sell you a refurb for cheap(not that cheap) good luck. or you could buy a cheap phone and swap, then add insurance and 30 days later add the 6700 back on and do a tep replacement or take into sprint store

another option I just remembered. if u cant find one that cant be activated and u dont think u could replace the screen urself, pocketpctechs can replace it for 169 bux which is better than having to buy a new one.

i think the screen is the least of his problems. coffee is probably going to fry his board and destroy his phone completely!

So your ppc is dying for some coffee, huh? I would just bring it to a sprint store and see what they say before you do anything. You might get lucky and get it replaced. Good luck my friend.

man...i feel your pain. is sprint willing to fix it without their insurance plan? i had to get the insurance when i bought my phone because i paid too much for it. now for me personally, the insurance is worth it. i bought my first 6700 back in march and my daughter destroyed it over the summer. 2 year olds and 6700s don't mix well. luckly for me, i had the insurance and sprint replaced it later on that day.
