Bad ESN found owner 2nd time up!

Just thought I'd share something with you folks! !!YMMV!!
First time I did this it took me forever, but I found the original owner from just looking up the using the ##3282# code to see if I could see the phones original number. I purchased that one off of ebay and the seller swore it was clean. I fubared and never got the ESN before hand, but with some luck I got it activated. Had to call the original owner explain how I came up with the phone and he called up sprint and let the lock off of it.

This time I came up on a PPC-6700 on Craigslist for next to nothing, $25 and guy said he "found" it and when he tried to activate it there was a lock on it. I was like heck the ole lady whinning about wanting a new phone, i'll give it a shot. Well, comes to find out when I called to get the phone activated it was clear to be activated. Wow, what luck. Phones works fine, except when I went to hook it up to PC with USB won't do it, keeps going on and off. f'n a dude.... It charges from the wall socket with no problems. So, I called up Sprint told them and lady just said you have insurance on it, so just take it into a store and they will be able to further assist you. I even asked about the insurance on the phone not being over 30 days and she said, its not an insurance claim lost or stolen so as long as the store does it doesn't matter. Wouldn't be something if she gets a Mogul in return?

Will update for those who care to find out results tomorrow!
