Question New Type Of Cradle?

Hi All,

Found this on Wirester, wondering if anyone's bought it?

http://www.wirester.com/cradle-aud-8700.html

It's a cradle for the 6700 that holds it landscape and allows for the keyboard to be used.

Since I'm in Canada, it's a one way shipping for me, I hate returning across boards.

So anyone have one, or seen it in a physical store?

Thanks in advance,

SDJThorin.

I have one of those. Got it from eBay last year. Works very well. I did have to send back the first one they shipped as the USB port was pushed inside, but they swapped it without hassle and haven't had any issues with the new one.

That is a clear stylus with an LED shining up through it. Wouldn't recommend using it without a screen protector tho - it's hard plastic and the tip seems sharp.

The price is a little high. Check eBay and you should find one for under $10.

I also had this one. I didn't really like it in that it was difficult to see in the flat position from any distance. For inputting messages it was good though. Mine had a blue LED shining up through the stylus and it was kinda cool. I also got it on Ebay very cheaply.

Thanks,

Could you tell me a bit about it's construction? Does it have weight? Is it hollow? Made from cheap plastic? etc...

Can't really tell from the picture.

Thanks,

I agree with Silent_Patriot, they are on ebay for under 10, I have one also but mainly because I do not like the way the 6700 sits in the OEM cradle and it is barely supported by anything. I am always afraid I will break the USB port in the bottom of the phone and then I will be so screwed. They are about as sturdy as the OEM. They are all plastic. Nothing is metal anymore. Just go ahead and get one off ebay and you'll be fine.
