Only other thing I can think of is that you possibly have a bad mini slot but you said that you were able to test a non-SDHC card and it worked fine. So not sure where that leaves us.

Problem solved... Turns out what was slowing down my phone was all my contact call history and all my text messages.... ever since i stopped restoring them with PHM Restore everything is working wonderfully.!!!
