Its my understanding some of the custom ROMs may re-write the primary and ext ROMs in order to reclaim lost storage space/memory usage.

If I remember correctly, the 3.5 kitchen flashes only the OS, so your extended rom is in the same place and having the same contents it had before. Have you unlocked it and/or unhidden it? Regardless of the answer, you should be able to use Total Commander to view the contents - just enter \Extended Rom\ in the address bar. If it's got carrier customizations in it then you would want to interrupt these at hard reset since they are not compatible with the kitchen rom in most cases.

I have looked for Ext Rom with Total Commander and cannot find it. Also, I don't get the warning on a Hard Rest that I used to. Surely others have wittnessed this since the actions I have taken are so generic.
My Selections.txt looks like: SelectionsVersion=.90.04 KitchenDir=Apache_Helmi_WM6/Apache_Helmi_WM6.rar:; ModuleDir=PPCGeeks_OEM.rar: ModuleDir=PPCGeeks_OEM ModuleDir=USER_OEM PatchDir=Patches ExtraDir=Apache_Helmi_WM6\Extra OutputDir=Temp PostProcessTool= ROMDeviceType=Apache ROMOSType=WM6 DeviceRUUType=Standard DeviceCarrierType=Sprint PagePoolSize=8 SelectedBootSplashImage=240x320,Apache3.png SelectedMainSplashImage=240x320,UcanTuchum.png e7cc4160-b5bb-11db-abbd-0800200c9a66, True, Sprint 0875d285-3f09-4a1b-95e6-a16aa7bb2d6c, True, HTC Camera 2f9c257e-cd05-41bb-bb39-232aac902d6f, True, Comm Manager (10-Button) aaa8ce13-5a7e-4584-a20b-c0242b19c063, True, SD Card Support Only cab3a5d5-e09b-495d-8382-7f5136998f58, True, Wireless Modem (Wmodem) 8be73c02-3437-4c06-88c9-0a2e25bfaf2c, True, Windows Update 9ca8818d-8eec-479d-a9be-81305c52d303, True, Bluetooth A2DP Driver a492bb92-210b-4933-9a65-272cc8ad9a5b, True, Bluetooth HID Driver 5bd7986e-efd4-490a-b3f8-b69ed7293c47, True, Enterprise Protocols 0cfc3dc0-5fbc-4153-9ce9-72df4d8c2922, True, Solitare and Bubble Breaker ed0ab1a4-a456-4fb0-ad9d-93feccf351a3, True, Internet Sharing 4c804658-f322-40fd-989c-1394560913fa, True, Modem Link 38f43c9f-bc38-430e-81d1-a2e6c650f225, True, .NET Compact Framework d83b7202-2af0-4199-af12-d073bc63732f, True, OneNote Mobile 27790533-c966-4097-8a93-c1a83969c574, True, Windows Live b58170c7-67d4-4f57-af5b-a4134867f4d4, True, Remote Desktop Mobile 25865771-b284-11db-abbd-0800200c9a66, True, 1-Calc Lite 4fbb07f0-eae6-11db-8314-0800200c9a66, True, AllMobileMines 00baf61c-e3a7-4e67-82aa-319a299556a6, True, Chess 4e0550c0-eae9-11db-8314-0800200c9a66, True, Freecell 26a9f7e6-ea5c-11db-8314-0800200c9a66, True, Microsoft Hearts 5c302504-0686-11dc-8314-0800200c9a66, True, HTC Audio Manager 3d18a254-0013-47f5-b6dd-cf10b605a2bd, True, HTC Smartdialing ffffffff-b362-42f7-be26-9f4e2fca8101, True, HTC Sprint HomePlug a68b298c-c2c5-409c-a145-3113bcf2baa1, True, HTC Streaming Media Player 5061726e-2004-4ba5-9830-491f72222483, True, HTC Voice Recorder e9a61473-7d13-4487-9cde-f487b1bd6cb0, True, HTC ZIP Application 26316bc7-c258-11db-8314-0800200c9a66, True, Kevtris 26316bb8-c258-11db-8314-0800200c9a66, True, Ms PacMan 5f86088f-7e4b-4f3d-8b34-76b8a6bebe0e, True, Office Excel c87af325-6bb0-4ecf-a662-47cda75d339b, True, Office Powerpoint b495431f-6792-4461-a0cc-c9b7f5b47611, True, Office Word 19694bf2-1d69-11dc-8314-0800200c9a66, True, Pocket Sudoku ba209d60-b2a1-11db-abbd-0800200c9a66, True, Resco Explorer 9b4db6da-4984-4719-a42e-57a5679e4240, True, Chefz Creamy Rose Keyboard Skin eaa67629-3e8a-4bf1-979f-2d18f3e1e734, True, iBliss Phonepad (Requires Smartdial) cca7de97-9353-45c7-9006-0a73bec0575f, True, Total Commander 3a3d5b47-100c-4c3a-a0ce-1b84f6dc8dde, True, TripYzee e3006457-fbd6-41e6-8ba7-f6b1e114b453, True, Microsoft Voice Command 2d91230e-a5e0-4707-b8ec-515b2abc9d0e, True, CrossWords So anyone can repeat what I have done. Hidden/Unlocked or not, you should still be able to see it if you specify the address correctly - try an underscore instead of space between the two words, and maybe an extra backslash at the front. I can't really verify the right address because mine has been unlocked and unhidden for ages as "\Extended ROM\" |
