would it work?

i bought a ppc 6700 off of the internet and it worked well for about a year but now its starting to screw up a lot i flashed it over and over but the screen always blinks. do you think if i took it to an alltel dealer they would upgrade me to the 6800 just wondering by the way i live in a really small town in the middle of no where so, just a little background info
