would it work?

i bought a ppc 6700 off of the internet and it worked well for about a year but now its starting to screw up a lot i flashed it over and over but the screen always blinks. do you think if i took it to an alltel dealer they would upgrade me to the 6800 just wondering by the way i live in a really small town in the middle of no where so, just a little background info

First off, i would have to say that unless you have some sort of a "Service Plan" or "Warranty Service" i cannot imagine they would just swap you.

I personally dont have alltell service and i am unaware of their plan features.

The factory warranty is 1 year from HTC/UT Starcomm who manufactures the 6700. In many cases you will need to send it to them for review and repair.

Accounts you read about here where users are swapped are usually SPCS users who have insurance and are extremely escalated. Nowhere near everyone who wants a swap is getting one, only a few in extreme situations.
