Weather app on HTC Home not workin'

My brother is running a 6700 on Sprint. He's running one of the WM6 ROM's (I want to say Colonel's, but he's had it so long he can't remember). Recently, the weather plugin on the Home app stopped working, it won't connect to the servers to download the latest weather. Anyone run into this, or can anyone help out?

He's tried a hard reset, but that didn't do any good.

I'm running VZW_WM6_CE_5.2.1908_B7 and I noticed the same thing...attempting to download but that's it.

I was really liking the thought of that one. The data works so it has to be something else.

You may want to try spb traveler. It has much better weather.

I am running Helmi_C's latest and greatest w/Kitchen. And am also running into the same issue with the home weather problem.

Already a thread on this. The OEM in that thread is included in the latest PPCGeeks_OEM.rar and the old 2.0 version is still included as well, with the same fix described in the thread. All that was removed is one registry key which used to forward you to a different server for weather. That server no longer exists.
