I would say you should because they refurbish the phone's you send in and you flashing the ROM to wm6 void's the warranty.
I had to have two replacement 6700's and it's easy to flash back (assuming you don't have vista) just go to utstarcom's website and download the facotry ROM. |

I agree. I mean, lots of people will say not to bother, and they're probably right. It could be a million to one chance that they catch it. But since it only takes a few minutes to flash it, why not be safe.

LastNight i tried to reflash back to wm5 to aku3.3 but it wouldnt let me, It gave me an error, i think it said the rom wasnt designed for my device, bootloader 2.02, I never did reflash, but what do i do from there if i need to? if it wouldnt let me with aku3.3

First you check that you're flashing a ROM designed for your carrier.
Then you get the NoID RUU and try again. I assume you're on Bell Mobility or Verizon. If you're on Sprint, then 3.3 isn't the right rom to flash.
