Dropped 6700, Need Advice

Hey guys, Just needed to know what everyone thought I should do....

Yesterday at work I had my phone charger plugged in, sitting on my desk. My phone fell off my desk and landed on the charging cable plugged into the bottom. I picked it up with the USB charging cable hanging out all sideways crooked and just wanted to cry. Anyways, the little white plastic piece inside the USB port now wiggles around, and the metal housing around the outside is all bent to the side. It will not charge at all, and plugging it into my computer gives the message "Power Surge on USB Port".

What I wanted help with is my options. Right now I'm with Alltel, with a VZW branded XV6700.

This girl I know at the local Sprint Store has a fairly new Sprint PPC6700 she said she would sell me for $150. It kinda blew her mind when I started talking about MSL, PRL, SID, MIN, and all that fun stuff, but in the end she did say she would get me the MSL for the phone.

Another option would be to get a phone from eBay, there are alot of them brand new in box with loads of accessories for $150.

And lastly I considered just getting an extra battery and the OEM cradle and charging one battery while I use the other. I sync with exchange so thats no big deal, However I do cook a custom ROM and flash my phone about every 3 days, and this will no longer be an option.
