Is it worth it to buy a GPS bluetooth receiver?

Is it worth it to buy a GPS bluetooth receiver for PPC 6700?

first of all, the price is really expensive, on ebay it varies from $50 - $120 (anyone know a place to buy it cheaper? I'm from canada)

Second of all, does it work?

Third of all, since it's bluetooth, can you use the bluetooth handset at the same time of the GPS receiver?

and finally, since the screen of the PPC 6700 is almost invisible in day light, would it be a waste to spend $100 on a GPS system and not be able to see it on the road? and not to mention the screen is very small

If you had experience with GPS bluetooth, please share them.

i'm getting one to compliment TomTom Navigator on my PPC6700. You'll be able to see the screen just fine. I would rather pay 50-120 on the GPS supplement than spend 5-800 dollars on a garmin nuvi...

Don't know where I'm going to buy one yet, but can also use the help finding a deal on a bluetooth GPS receiver.

I probably use the GPS on my phone more than anything else, including calls. I have about 6 programs that access the GPS, one for driving, one for being out in the boondocks, one for being able to tell what stars are up there at any time and any place, and even more stuff.

Semsons has excellent "open box" BT receivers at really good prices - http://www.semsons.com/bluetoothgps.html. Check it out. I have a GlobalSat BT-338 and use iGuidance as my regular driving software. It makes driving totally stress free, even when I'm in a rental in a strange city - the screen really is big enough to see the maps, and the voice commands make it super easy.

I haven't had any problems using the BT receiver and a BT headset at the same time.

Spend a little time over at the forums at gpspassion - you'll learn more than you ever imagined. - sheureka

If you do a little search you will find this thread http://ppcgeeks.com/gps-device-for-y...light,gps.html
I brought my bt gps from buygpsnow and it worked perfect with 6700. Check out the coupon code but don't know if they still work.

On black friday I got a mio c310x all in one gps and I have to say it was more than worth the money. I have gps on my 6700 and its just not really convenient and the 6700 has a smallish screen. Having an all in one, its easy to switch between cars and its much easer to carry around. Just my opinion.

P.S. I only paid $150 after rebates

I don't really need a bluetooth, but since everybody is looking for one, I just want to give it a chance. I get lost easily at my job, so I guess is not that bad .

I bought this one today:
http://www.modaco.com/Paul-Reviews-T...S-t248271.html
for $80
I already got TomTom 6

The only thing that's still bothering me is the small screen and the blindness in day light. under the sun I can barely see my contact list... I don't know how I'll be able to read a small map on the PPC

Oh well, it's paid, just wait for it to come. I'll be back to let you guys know how I feel about bluetooth.
